Welcome to a world of small memories, brief moments captured in paper and broadcasted through a beam of light to reach you through your monitors. Welcome to Lasari's tiny world.

Among the many things he tells about Urban sketchers, I will just pick a few such as the fact that USK is a non profit organisation with members all around the world that takes the pulse of the cities. You can travel the world without actually moving from your computer! We try to capture the moment in a natural way without a picture or a memory. With the freshness of the instant. We see things with new eyes, we discover buildings, views that had gone unnoticed. I agree with him, that it is an enriching and stimulating experience.
I enclose one of the magnificent examples of Luis work that came with the article.

I have quite a story on the shop window of this classical grocery store of Malaga.
You can see many of the typical Xmas sweets displayed for sale. The sign says they prapare sandwiches as well.
The man behind the window is one of the owners, they are 2 brothers, his name is Paco. His grandfather had the shopm and so had his father, he and his brother were born on the upper floor even! (and all of that info from just buying a bottle of water...) This is one of the family businesses that sadly will dissapear when they go as their sons and daughers won't continue with the business. Is the end of an era...what a shame...I can help being a nostalgic...

We promise our nephew he wouldn't be dressed as little shepperd, nor as a reindeer or little angel for the kindergarden party... His uncle said, if you are going as someone from the "Belen" (representing the figures of the passion of Jesus), you are going as a Roman, and not just as any roman, you will be at least a Centurion!!
